I ran leg 10 on the South Jordan Slackers team in the Grand Teton Relay.  We had a start time of 8AM. We finished in just under 27 hours.  We were the first team to cross the finish line.  I passed the team in first on my last leg and our final two runners brought it home.  The average age of our team was about 44 with me being the oldest at 50 and it was a coed team of 6 and 6.

Leg 10 - I started at 4:50PM on Friday, it was 8.0 miles long and had a 450 foot drop.  I didn't push my hardest because I wanted to save up for the last leg.  Time 58:53,  Mile avg. - 7:21.

Leg 22 - I started at 1:30AM on Saturday, it was 3.57 miles long and had a 40 foot gain.  Time 27:34,  Mile avg. - 7:43.

After this leg I was still feeling very good because I hadn't pushed hard.

Leg 34 - I started at 9:30AM on Saturday, it was 5.79 mile long and had a 2,300 foot drop.  Time 31:52,  Mile avg. - 5:30.  Splits were 5:20, 5:28, 5:16, 5:07, 5:54, 6:03.  The last 1.79 miles were not quit as step but I was also getting pooped and couldn't keep up the pace of the first four miles.
