Trying to get my legs ready for Saturdays 5K.  My legs still aren't ready or rested enough but hopefully by Saturday they will be.  I did a couple of fast quarters to remind my body I want some speed.

So I guess I’m an activist at heart. I noticed we’ve only had 13 votes but 144 views and there are more of you out there. I know some people don’t use the discussion board of the blog so I’m posting this comment on everyone’s blog that has updated in the last few days or so to bring your attention to both the discussion section and the mileage board. Please read the discussion here (http://fastrunningblog.com/forum/index.php/topic,324.0.html) and then vote here (http://fastrunningblog.com/forum/index.php/topic,348.0.html) if you have an opinion. If you already voted, I am sorry about the “spam.” Thank you!

I don't get it. What am I voting for?

From Adam RW on Fri, May 23, 2008 at 09:50:46

For some reason the hyper link removes the 348.0.html

The vote is for changing the mileage board to be "running only" "the same" or "give alternatives".

That is an awesome 5K PR!!! It always impresses me and keeps me motivated to see someone that was running that fast 22-yrs ago can still throw down great marathon times. Good luck getting your foot to cooperate for a sub-3:00 marathon this year.
