Noon run, sunny, hot, temp 95'

I played basketball last night so my legs were not as fresh as I'd like them to be.  I was on the path doing about 8 minute miles when I met Eric.  I backtracked with him and he was just about to do 1 fast mile.  I decided to do it with him.  We did it in 6:05 then we went back to slow running.  It was to hot to want to run anything but slow.

Time 60:45,  Mile avg. - 7:53

Terry where are those nice 70-80 degree fall days? I thought when I got back from India we would be done with this lousy hot weather!!

As far as your run....are you really calling your 6:05 a 'fast' mile? For you I think it needs to start with a 5 before you can use the 'f' word. And don't go blaming the hot weather....I don't recall you cutting me much slack when I cut my hot, humid treadmill tempo run short a couple weeks ago.

Tom, I'm calling the 6:05 Fast for Eric. It was Eric that wanted to do a fast mile not me, I just ran with him. But I'm glad you are there watching to make sure I keep it up.
