Noon run, sunny,  temp 75+

Today was my Icecream run day.  They were giving out free icecream sandwiches in the lobby.  So I got the jogging clothes on and grabbed a icecream sandwich and started jogging.  The first half a mile went a little slower due to eating the icecream but then the rest of the run was powered by sugar.  My throat is still hurting just a bit so I sucked on a halls cough drop the rest of the way.  For awhile it tested like chocolate covered cough drop.

Time 28:50,  Mile avg. 6:50

I was considering making a late enterance to the SF half but the cold slowed me down so I couldn't get a confidence builder longer run in over the weekend.

You don't need no stinkin' "confidence builder longer run". Come and run the SF half. You'll be well by then. Besides, Michael Jordan played better when he was sick, didn't he? Bring a cough drop or two and enjoy the race with us.

Having said that, I haven't registered yet and there is still a chance I won't go, but for now I'm planning on it.

Wait, you're in Tom's AD not mine, right? :)

Paul,

I think you'll have to go without me. Currently my nose is running but my legs aren't. My soar throat turned into a runny nose.
