8:00AM start to the race. Wind and Light snow. Temp. 32-35

It was good to see some familiar faces at the starting line. For the first half mile Paul, Tom and I ran together, then Paul let us go. I ran with Tom for 5 or 6 miles then set out on my own. My goal was to get under 1:30 and beat my good friend Tom. At mile 9 I look back and Tom was still in sight so I ran mile 10 in 6:34 finally putting some distance between me and Tom.

By miles 12 and 13 my brain was telling me to slow down and I was having a hard time remembering why I even like running. Running hard hurts but I over-rode my evil thoughts and kept pushing.

The bum-itis is still around.  It doesn't like me running fast at races.

Nice day for a run.  It would have been near perfect except for the bum-itis and the fact that I have to find new employement starting May 15th.  If you hear of a job for a Controller/Accountant, let me know.

It was a great morning for a run.  I ran 7.3 miles on my own and then ran with Taunia 4.5 miles.  During my run I had the opportunity to think about the atonement and the resurrection of our Savior because I was speaking in church on Sunday which adds stress to my life but it was a great way to celebrate Easter.

Since it was raining I thought I'd do the quick and short run.

Nice day for a long run.  I don't think playing basketball last night helped the bum-itis at all.

For some reason I felt great today and had a lot of energy.  I wish I would feel like this more often.  The only thing holding me back from really letting loose is the bum-itis.

I ran with Tyler today.  I was glad to go at a slower pace.  To much running this week and basketball last night.

The first half mile heading into the wind was a bit cold then I started to warm up.  Just after that Cal appeared running the oppisite way so I ran with him for almost 5 miles on the Jordan pathway.  It was good to see Cal.  He is running but unfortunately, not pain free.

My legs were feeling good so I decided to run hard.  What a dumb idea.  Running hard hurts.  I must have mental problems because it sounds fun until I start doing it.  And it doesn't take long before it sound fun to do again.

Yesterdays faster pace flared up the tendon-bum-itis just a bit more than the normal.

The Jordan river was running high.  Hope the 35 million lbs. of carp in Utah lake don't make a trip down the Jordan.

I was going to run some easy 8:30 miles because I played basketball last night and I'm just a little sore but a guy entered the path just in front of me doing about 7:15 miles and of course I had to stay with him.  Luckily we went seperate ways after about a half a mile and then I slowed down but not back to the easy pace.
