SLC Half.  Start time 7AM, temp. 54 at start.

8 other neighbors arrived at my home at 5:30 and we headed to Gateway to park and then take Trax to the stating line.  Unfortunatley we arrived only 12 minutes before the race.  The bathroom lines were incredibly long and I felt like a #2 stop would be a good thing but no time.  Luckily this didn't effect my race, but I did head straight to the porta pottys after the race.  This course was just slightly different than 4 years ago but overall about the same elevation flow.  My goal was to get 6:30 miles or better.

I felt good the entire race, getting tired but not slowing down near the end.  The last half mile my legs were getting tight thinking about cramping.  If I would have had a mile or two to go I'd of had to slow down, so I think I pushed just the proper amount.

Very nicely done Terry. Pretty sweet to still be able to get the sub 1:25 at your ripe age of 47 :)

Nice job hitting your goal pace today! Perhaps you are not too old yet.
