Noon run, sunny, low wind, temp 80'

Today I felt like I want to feel before any race.  My energy was up and my legs were loose.  Unfortunately, the cold that a few of my kids have had and my wife currently has, finally got me so I ran easy today.  Any theories on getting rid of colds quickly and how much to run durring a cold?

Miles by month

JAN   30,  -  FEB   60,  -  MAR 105,  -  APR 165

165 miles in April is the most miles I've run in a month since 2003 when I was training for Boston.  I have good advice from Sasha to thank, and Ragnar Relay boys that asked me to be on their team to thank, and work slowing down just a bit and a good wife to thank.

When is your next race?

On the cold - what you did today is just about right. Cut the volume, as well as the intensity depending on the severity of the illness. I found large dozes of onions and garlic combined with lots of fluids and vitamin C to be very effective against a cold.

Next run is Ogden 1/2 marathon on May 19th.

I may do a 5K in Ephraim May 26th and then I don't have anything planned until the Wasatch Back Relay on June 22nd.
