Corner Canyon Half was only my second trail run.  This time I purchased some gaitors which worked very well.

Ended up being cloudy with a little breeze and very cool for this time of year.  About 45'.  I'm guessing there were about 100+ half marathoners.  I wore a short sleeved shirt which about 25% of the runners did and which I'm glad I did.  The first mile is on a dirt road so there is no problem with the trails.  We were spaced out enough when we hit the trails and everyone was very friendly to let you pass if you wanted to.

I thought I'd run this race a little faster just based on elevation however, I forgot how much the dirt and rocks and up and down and hard swithbacks slow you down.  The highest elevation point was at about mile nine.

Mile 1-5,  8:40, 11:00, 8:10, 9:30, 9:20

Mile 6-10, 9:15, 9:25, 9:30, 8:35, 9:00

Mile 11-13,  8:00, 7:25, 7:00
