Morning run, Temp 66'

It must be getting close to the WBR because the temps are heating up.  I decided to do a 3 mile tempo run and not push it all out.  I avg. 6:13 miles or 14 seconds slower than last time I did the tempo run.  I assume a tempo run is ok 3 days before a race.  Any more runs will be very easy pace until the race.

I went on the WBR web site and viewed the winner of the 2007 WBR video contest.  It gets you excited to run and it had my neighbor in it that is a great runner.

Distance 7 miles, Time 46:45,  Mile avg. - 6:41

Noon run, sunny, windy, temp 90'

Decided I needed to get use to the heat for the WBR.  Ran with Tyler.  The sun and heat definately have an effect.

Distance 5.2 miles,  Time 43:05,  Mile avg. - 8:17

Nice tempo and heat run Terry. I'm thinking you're in better shape this year than last year for WBR. Do you think so?

Nice running today Terry. It's good to get a feel for the heat from time to time.

If I'm in better shape than last year it is just by a little bit.
