Noon run, sunny, temp. 90+

Much easier to run in the heat a minute per mile slower than yesterday. 

A guy on a bike passed me as I was running and said that running is bad for your knees. I'm just wonding what he wanted me to do.  Stop running and walk back and never run again?

You should have told him that cycling is bad for your bones.

Not to mention that every big long term study has shown that running is, in fact, actually VERY GOOD for joint health - including (and especially) the knees.

Being overweight is bad for knees.

That always really irritates me when non-runners give me "running-is-bad-for-your-knees" speech. Here is just one of many articles pointing out research indicating otherwise:
