Lifes getting to busy at work and home, having a hard time getting in the runs. But I something woke me up so I went out and got a quick run in. Since it was a shorter run and I didn't run yesterday I thought I pick up the pace, however, being a little low on sleep my first mile was in 7:45, then I finally decided to kick it in gear and got some sub 7's in.
We headed to the airport to pick up Tanner at 10:30AM. Always fun to see the returned missionaries.

In Logan for a mini-vaction with the family. Ran with Dallas. We went around USU campus to First Damn, around the Temple, and over to the track to do one lap and back to the hotel. We raced a 200 M on the track and Dallas creamed me. Don't have that fast gear anymore.

For some reason I felt good this morning so I ran hard.
Not impressed with our American woman that fell in the 1500M and didn't get up and at least finish but pouted on the track and pounded the track. Get up and run and finish the race and make us pround that you are a finisher even thought you had an aweful thing happen to you.

Hadn't pushed a mile for some time so I decided to do my 4th mile fast. I wanted it under 6:00. The last couple of times I've tried this I failed partially do to unfavorable winds. This time wind was not a factor. I psyched my self up and invisioned myself running strong the whole time and telling myself if I went under 6 I got a 2 minute rest. I was able to do it with a 5:39.
