Noon run, partly cloudy, temp. 50'

Very nice day for a run.  I didn't run the last couple of days hoping my hip would mend.  As I started to run I could just tell where it had been hurting but no sharp pains occured.  During the 1st mile I felt good so I kept picking up the pace.  All miles except the 1st mile were between 6:50 and 6:30 miles.

It felt good knowing the legs still had some get-up-and-go, probably enough to still beat Tom even after the last two weeks of low mileage.

Time 49:00,  Mile avg 6:48.

Hey Terry,

Were you wearing an orange shirt today, and running on the Jordan River Parkway?

From Terry on Tue, Sep 25, 2007 at 10:27:11

Yes I was wearing orange. I'm assuming you were out their too. If you were the guy who is stocky, with bigger legs than the skinny runners, than I know who you are now. Good luck at St. George.

P.S. you were moving pretty fast when I saw you.

You're description fits of course. But when I saw you jump onto the trail you were about an 1/8 mile ahead of me. I was trying to catch up with you but the distance kept growing... Then I had to turn around and go back to Ultradent. Nice pace!

Cal,

I use to work at Ultradent in the accounting department from about 1997-2000.

Cal,

I saw someone else on the path then. I didn't see you. Good to see you blogging.

I'm glad I picked yesterday to do a fast run so you could still have the impression I'm a fast runner.
