Morning run, Trans Jordan dump run, Temp. 30-35

I was hoping to feel a little more pep in the step and naturaly slip into some 7:30 miles for the 1st few miles but it wasn't there so I just hit some 8 min miles. At the half way point I was behing the 8 min. pace man by about 60 seconds. I had decided to do a 3 mile tempo run for miles 10-12 so I knew I'd pass the 8 min. guy easy. The 1st half of the run is slightly uphill and the last is slightly down. I was surpised to get a 6:00, 6:06, & 6:00 on the tempo run. Maybe next weeks SLC half marathon wont be a disaster.

Time 1:47:36, Mile avg. - 7:35

Those are some nice tempo miles. I think you're ready for next week.

Terry I'll bet you do great as usual at the SLC half. Wish I could do it with and try to stay on your tail.

Gee the Jordon dump run sounds very scenic and charming.

Yes, the dump run usually has a certain airomatic charm to it for a mile or so.
