A near perfect morning for a 10K.  Temp. about 45'

There were only about 40-50 people that ran this race.  When we all lined up from the look of things there were maybe 4-5 people that looked like they could beat me if they had been training.  Unfortunately two of them did beat me.

The race started and very soon it was apparent that the race was between me and a high school distance runner and seasoned runner.  I stayed with them for about a mile then wimped out.  I definately don't have the eye of the tiger anymore.  My race mentality was not around.  I think I need to do some speed work to get my body use to higher amounts of pain.

If I was guessing the first two miles are slightly down then three slightly up and the last down.  Times were.

6:40, 7:00, 7:23, 7:21, 7:08, 6:39, 0:30

Tanner ran the 5K in about 21:20, beating mariella and Brinlee by only 20 seconds.  Darcie and Kenna and Katelynn were around 31 minutes.
