Morning run, temp 37'

Even with the daylight savings change it was still dark my entire run.

Morning run, Temp 39'

It is hard to run fast in the dark, however I was pleased with this workout.  I did my 2 mile tempo run and I though since I worked 13 hours the day before and ate a couple of candy bars at work and then came home and finished dinner off with some ice cream that my workout might suffer, but I ran the first mile in 6:00 and the second mile in 5:53.  Hopefully my work schedule will mellow out so I don't have to eat two candybars a day for mental sanity.

Morning run, temp 39'

My friend the moon made an appearance just about half way through the run.  Also, I had a little foot pain in my arch on my right foot that hit me just a couple hundred yards into my run.  It felt more like a cramped up muscle than PF.  It slowly went away after a few miles.

Noon run, sunny, temp. 60'

It was nice to run at lunchtime after running in the dark the last 3 mornings.  I was hoping the run would take all my stress away but it didn't quite get it all.  Maybe I just need a weekend.

My lower back has a slight ache to it today.  Run was good but I felt old for some reason.

Morning run, Breezy, Temp 50'

This was my first 40+ miles/week since August.   If I'm going to run a marathon on my Birthday  in April next year I've got to start putting in more 40+ mile weeks.  This morning I felt great and I started running good right from the start.  I averaged 7:30 miles on the 1st 5 miles that are slightly up hill, then I turned around and ran a 6:13, 6:18, 6:24.  After 3 fast miles my legs told me that it would be wise to slow down,  The legs were starting to hurt.  I really didn't want to slow down because I was on pace to do sub 7 minute miles, but way back in the background I could faintly hear Sasha telling me to do the smart thing.  I slowed down a bit and my legs thanked me.  Today I didn't feel old until mile 8.  Also, the back was hurting a lot last night but it was gone for this mornings run.  Lucky.
