Morning run, temp. 32'

My legs were feeling pretty good for giving them a little abuse Saturday.  I wasn't ready for a tempo run but maybe tomorrow I will be ready.

I have a good wife, she got up with the child that was throwing up last night.

Morning run, dark, windy, temp 45'

I went out and did a 2 mile tempo run.  The 1st mile was in 6:17 against the wind and the 2nd mile was 5:59 wind aided.  For some reason I just couldn't get into the tempo run near as much as last week.

No run

My back hurt all day yesterday but I still set my alarm to run this morning.  At about 3:30 by youngest daughter that was throwing up last night said "Daddy, Kitchen" which being interpreted is "feed me now".  My back was still hurting as I was feeding her so I adjusted my alarm and slept in.  I'm guessing my core muscles are just a little to week for the 40+ miles a week.  I'll have to incorporate a few new excersizes.

Morning run, temp 32'

I took some drugs last night and decided I'd try a run this morning.  My back was aching just a little but it lossened up after a few miles or the natural running induced drugs kicked in.

Noon run, sunny, temp 55'

Just about the perfect day for a run.  Unfortunately, my brain power was all used up at work and after a couple of 7:20 miles my brain wanted a rest so I slowed down.

Morning run with the Tom & the Spanish Fork runners & Paul & Kerry, cloudy, Temps 45-50.

It was Tom's birthday suprise breakfast after the run that Kim was hosting.  It was great to see the excited Spanish Fork runners at 6AM in the dark.  Runners are crazy.  Now I know why Tom always gets chicked on his morning runs because Jamie & Michelle are darn fast.  For me I had 2 highlights of the run.  One of them was when Tom & myself ran some 7:30 miles.  I never thought I'd see the day when Tom could kick out some fast miles where I felt I was getting a good workout.  The other highlight was having the female duo of M&J lead the way in front of about 10 men.

Breakfast at Kim's was great.  I ate enough food to keep me going tell dinner.

On the way home from Tom & Kim's I saw our wards Turkey Bowl going on.  I stopped and played for an hour.  I didn't have quite the speed as normal.  Wonder why?  My back started aching just a little near the end of the run.  Hoping it will go away totally soon.

No Idea how fast we ran.
