Thursday I backpacked 10 miles in the Unita Mtns with my sons scout group.  Friday hiked 6 miles and backpacked 4.  Saturday we backpacked back to camp 6 miles and I jogged the last couple then I jogged back to the slowest group for about 3 miles of jogging for the day.

The lakes and snowcapped mountains were beautiful.  Unfortunately on the second day as I was jumping a small stream my lower back got tweaked and is still aching a little.

That all sounded great until the "back tweaking"! None of that kind of stuff allowed at this point! Hopefully it's not too tweaked!

Sounds like a great time in the Uintas. Hope the back is good to you, doing wild and crazy things like jumping small streams can be dangerous for old fellers like us.

Wow Kim guess we were commenting at the same time. You beat me by 10 seconds.

That's about the only place I'll ever beat you, so I'll take it. But aren't you suppose to be "working"?

I forget I'm not a teenager when I'm up in the mountains and the old man body just wouldn't take the abuse this time.
